In any business, including online or offline, the resources can be paid or free.

For any website, you need a domain. Your domain is your unique identity on your internet.

e.g. DIYMoreMoney.com is the unique domain of this website, and none one else can have it.

You can buy Domain from anywhere you like, the ones I recommend are

Namecheap

Namesilo

Just like you need a physical home, your website needs hosting. This is a dedicated "portion" of a computer you get for keeping all your website content.
So, you need a fast, always on, reliable hosting.
But, there are other aspects to hosting too.
If you are a beginner, just stick to Shared hosting. You don't need to even think about any other hosting, unless you expect huge traffic from day one. You can pick any of these for your website.

Hostinger

A2Hosting

They say, money is in the list. And, by list, they mean the list of emails you have. A good autoresponder helps you compile that list through forms, seggregate those email ids based on certain behaviors, sends automatic emails, helps you understand your stats (to optimize or take approrpiate actions).

But, also remember, a good inbox deliver is important, as well, or even more. You have all the features, but if your emails land in spam, it's waste of time & money.

Aweber

Getresponse

Email Octopus

and there are lot more.

If you are feeling adventrours, you can use Amazon SES for mail delivery and Email Octopus or Sendy as the Front End software.

If you deal with videos, you need a video editor. Basic video editing like adding banners, lower thirds, logo, snipping, is what you'd need to begin with.

There is absolutely no dearth of good video editors. Sharing some which are good, free, and do not add any watermark to your videos.

OpenShot

Shotcut

Kdenlive

Olive Video Editor

If you feel, you need a Pro software wtihout paying any money, you cannot go wrong with Da Vinci Resolve. Another such tool is HitFilm by Fxhome. For both of these tools, you can pay to have even more features. But, you may not need.

Wondershare Filmora is one more software for newbies & interemediate video editors. Unfortunately, the free version produces watermark on videos.

You may not need videos all the time, but images are good enough in some cases. A good image editor allows you to create eye catching photos or turn a normal photograph to a brilliant masterpiece. Definitely, you need to be good at using tool, is another requirement.

Some of the tools are

GIMP

Photopea

Pixlr

Snapseed (Google's Photo Editor for Android & iOS)

Canva

Whether you're recording podcasts or videos, ensuring good audio quality is crucial. While you might be able to compromise a bit on video quality, bad audio simply doesn't cut it.

That's where Audacity shines.

It's a free & open source software and does almost everything a beginner to an intermediate video/audio editor needs.

You may not have great design skills, but requirement of good youtube thumnail, featured image for blog page, cover photo for your LinkedIn profile or your instagram posts will never cease. And, an infographic can change how your content looked as text.
Recommending some great tools to you.
